Ashley's new nose goes shopping! December 24, 2007

It's the day before Christmas, and guess who went shopping? Everybody! LOL! Among them is Ashley Tisdale with her BFF Vanessa Hudgens. The two headed to Woodland Hills and the mall doing a bit of last minute shopping. Ashley Tisdale was wearing a blue dress topped off by a grey sweater, and sporting her brand-new hopefully-healed nose. The High School Musical stars were seen joking and laughing throughout the day. They started off with a quick bite at Mo's Fine Food in Woodland Hills, and then proceeded to the Westfield Mall to finish off their holiday shopping.
As for "reviews" of her new nose, it seems that most feel that Ash was better off before the reconstructive procedure. I guess they meant it NON-healthwise. After all, she had difficulty breathing! Jeez! One journalist wrote, "Ashley Tisdale now is potentially poised to experience the Jennifer Grey Syndrome - tinkering with her distinct look and undergoing plastic surgery to correct a "deviated septum" - only to emerge with an unrecognizable feature." Hmm, hopefully he's gonna be wrong!
Ashley Tisdale cancels shows December 18, 2007
After getting a nose job, Ashley Tisdale was in a quandary as her nose healed slower than intended and she had mall shows to attend to. According to her, she "had to make the difficult decision to cancel the appearances," though she still flew to her gigs with the crew and dancers, hoping she would be well enough to make it onstage. Here is Ashley Tisdale's apology to her Miami and Philadelphia fans: "When my surgery was scheduled, we didn't think it would be necessary to cancel the shows because my doctor thought I would heal in time. Unfortunately, the deviated septum was more significant than we originally thought so the healing process is taking longer." Ashley Tisdale also didn't perform at the Z-100 Jingle Ball in New York on Friday, although she put in an appearance and signed autographs for fans. Well, we hope the nose will get better soon Ash! And hopefully, it won't change your voice that much =)
Ashley talks about career and style December 10, 2007
As with all Disney babies, Ashley Tisdale is both an actress and a singer. In a recent interview, she was asked where she wants to focus more - acting or singing? The High School Musical star did not choose between the two. Instead Ashley Tisdale said, "It's all about balancing it out I think. At first it was really, really hard when I was doing HSM 2 and when my album released. That was very hard to balance. But I think that you just find time and they're both equally important to me. I'm focusing on my music right now - I just did the tour and now I'm going start my second album. But I'm set to do HSM 3 in February so then I'll be going back to my acting. So I think it's just a balancing act." As for her style, she does love high fashion but doesn't go over the top like Sharpay, her character in HSM. Ashley Tisdale shared, "My style can be totally random, from vintage to surfer. It just depends on how I'm feeling that day. I love Victoria's Secret, Stella McCartney boots, Burberry shoes, Jimmy Choos. I also love Jessica Simpson's line of shoes."
Would you get your teen a nose job?? December 4, 2007

For Ashley Tisdale's mom, she's all for it! Not that she's into plastic surgery to improve the already pretty looks of her daughter but for her health's sakes. Last Friday, the Sharpay of High School Musical fame underwent a five-hour rhinoplasty procedure (with her mom by her side) in Los Angeles. Explains Ashley Tisdale to PEOPLE magazine, "Growing up I always knew I had a deviated septum on the right side of my nose, which caused trouble breathing. The older I got, the worse it got. I went to get it checked out, and the doctor told me the septum was 80 percent deviated and that I had two small fractures on my nose." The 22-year old actress shared the procedure was a harrowing experience for her. She says, "I was completely scared. I wasn't looking forward to the surgery at all. I actually had trouble sleeping for a week before."
So how did Ashley Tisdale fare days after her procedure? "I'm not feeling great today. It's uncomfortable and I hope this is the only time I ever have to go through something like this." And though she underwent plastic surgery, Ashley does not recommend it to her fans or to anyone. She explains, "I didn't do this because I believe in plastic surgery. I did this to help my health. I literally almost could not breathe out of the right side of my nose. I want my fans to know the truth. I'm not someone who is going to act like I had nothing done. I just want to be honest because my fans are everything to me."
Stars galore in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! November 27, 2007

And one of the stars who hit the famous parade is Ashley Tisdale, star of High School Musical 1 and 2. The teen actress performed her own rendition of "Last Christmas" aboard the "Expedition To The Top Of Rhino Mountain" float at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City last Thursday. You can watch her performance
HERE. So how did Ashley Tisdale find New York? "Oh it was fun! Except it was starting to rain - it was actually starting to pour - so that wasn't fun. [laughs] But other than that it was really cool." Sharpay of HSM looked so fit and stylish in her getup (black form-fitting coat) that many of her fans have been asking if she's working out. The answer? Yes! Ashley Tisdale relates, "I like to do a lot of cardio. I want to get into Pilates. At my gym they also have yoga and classes that you can take so I definitely try out everything."
Ashley chats with OK! November 20, 2007
Ashley Tisdale is not only on Girl's Life magazine this November, she's also in OK! where she modeled some sweaters and had a lil chitchat about her busy life. How busy? Let's just say Ashley Tisdale just released her first album Headstrong + a behind-the-scenes DVD, and has a second one on the way soon. Plus she's filming a movie Picture This, and she's set to shoot for the third film in the HSM franchise. Not to mention she's also doing a mall tour to promote her DVD. If that's not busy for a 22-year old, I don't know what is!
Anyway, in her interview with OK!, Ashley Tisdale relates she's up for a well-deserved vacation this coming Christmas. Says the HSM actress: "I love Christmas at our house - it's so much fun. We love to make cookies that have been handed down generations on my dad's side. It's just a great time to be at home. I love being home at Christmastime. I love going to the Grove - it's so amazing! It kind of reminds me of Rockefeller Center. It's like the best time of year I think." Ashley was last seen attending the DVD premiere of Disney's High School Musical 2 held at LA's El Capitan Theatre last Monday. She played around with director Kenny Ortega's Yorkshire Terrier Manly, who played the part of "Boi" (Sharpay's dog) in the HSM films.
Ashley Tisdale on Girl's Life magazine November 15, 2007
Attention Ashley Tisdale fanatics! Your favorite teen star is the cover of the October/November issue of Girl's Life magazine, and inside, she reveals a side of herself that not many are aware of. Hmm, sounds intriguing! Anyhoo, the actress/singer is busy with her mall tours right now but she never misses to watch The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, where her co-stars are real-life friends. Says Ashley Tisdale, "I talked with Brenda [Song] and the [Sprouse] twins all the time. I'm on the bus so I watch TV, and I normally don't watch shows, I don't, but I miss it. I miss being there. I'm pathetic. I call them and I'm like 'I miss everybody. I'm watching the show.' They laugh at me." The on-cam babysitter of the Sprouse twins adds, "I love the brothers. They are the typical younger brothers. Me and Brenda, there are times when we want to be by ourselves, and they're there budding the entire time. But they are so cool and so much fun to be with." Ashley's take on her first live show November 13, 2007
Sharpay on the hit movie High School Musical may have sung a million times but for Ashley Tisdale, it was peanuts as compared to her first LIVE performance on the High School Musical tour. Says the 22-year old actress: "Preparing for the first show on the High School Musical tour, I was very, very nervous. It was the first time I was going to be performing my own solo songs from 'Headstrong' in front of anyone, let alone 15,000 people! So before the show, I was a mess and couldn't even walk straight or focus or anything." Loll! But of course, that didn't stop Ashley Tisdale from performing. In fact, she even enjoyed her number! And now, she even looks forward to performing live. Attar girl! She shares, "That [nervousness] all went away after I got on stage, and then when I ran off the stage after the performance I was just so excited - jumping up and down and off the walls. It was a complete change. And now I look forward to performing every single time!" Well, that would be certainly helpful with all her upcoming dozen mall tours and shows. Rock on Ash!
Ashley Tisdale’s successful mall tour October 23, 2007
The High School Musical star, Ashley Tisdale began her nationwide mall tour last October 15 in Polaris Mall of Columbus, Ohio. She has since been to many malls and always, the reception is widely enthusiastic. One security guard at a Nashville mall even said that Ashley Tisdale was bigger than Christmas, which the actress thought was a little weird. Nonetheless, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody star is pleased by how things have been going. Says the blond Ashley, “It was amazing. I thought there was only going to be like 100 kids. It was 3,200! I just couldn't believe it. I'm used to being in a group of six for 'High School Musical' so just seeing fans, it was awesome!” That’s what you get for giving free shows Ash -- loads of fan love and support! =) Ashley Tisdale’s mall tour is for the promotion of her latest album (now out) and upcoming DVD on her “secret” life. She earlier sang “He Said, She Said” in The Early Show today.
Ashley Tisdale goes on nationwide mall tour! October 15, 2007
Unlike the Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus, the High School Musical actress Ashley Tisdale won’t be having problems with scalpers jacking up ticket prices for her concerts. Why? Coz she’s gonna do her concerts for FREE in malls! Yup, absolutely free! Why so generous? Ashley Tisdale once related to Variety that she was discovered in a mall. She says, “I was discovered by a talent scout at a local mall.” Hmm, guess it’s her way of giving back to her fans =)
Anyway, the tour will start today in Columbus, OH at the Polaris Mall. On October 16, Ashley Tisdale will perform at Orland Square in Chicago, IL. She will also go to Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Nashville, Minneapolis, and Kansas City. So far, her last scheduled date is November 1 in Dallas but many believed that more shows will be announced soon. To help promote her mall tour, Ashley will appear on Good Morning America on October 19 and Live with Regis and Kelly on October 22. For those who want to meet The Suite Life of Zack and Cody star, they can tune in to their local radio stations where a contest is being held. The winner, of course, will get to walk in the show and meet Ashley. Totally rad!
Ashley Tisdale cools off in LA! October 7, 2007
High School Musical (HSM) 1 and 2 were a worldwide hit. Already, stars of the hit TV movies are getting ready for HSM 3 and a possible Hollywood adaptation. And guess what? There’s also a High School Musical ice show! Isn’t that great?? But of course, the “stars” aren’t Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, etc. You don’t expect them to be ice skaters too right? Lol! Anyway, in support of the ice show, HSM stars Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Kaycee Stroh, Chris Warren Jr. and Lucas Gabreel were all at the Staples Center in Los Angeles last October 5. Apparently they loved the adaptation judging from their wide smiles after watching the amazing ice show. According to the producers, the first act of the show contains the plotline from HSM 1, and after the intermission, you’ll get HSM 2 on the rink. Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale go shopping! October 1, 2007
The erstwhile onscreen rivals in The High Musical are really pals in real life. And despite rumors that Ashley Tisdale is out to get Vanessa Hudgens’ man (Zac Efron if you’re living under a rock for the past few months), the two are showing solidarity. Disney’s two hottest teen stars were seen shopping in Valencia. Ashley Tisdale was wearing a black number while Vanessa was in light-colored polo and jeans. Their outfits’ common denominator? Both were done in hippy style! Are they planning to make the “hippy” look vogue again??
Anyway, in other HSM news, it is widely rumored that movie #3 is already in the works. And that as early as October 10th, 2008 we could watch the third (and final??) film of the widely successful franchise. That’s early?? Its one year from now, jeez! According to reports, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, and Corbin Bleu are all in HSM 3. Bring it on! =)
